Adult Biathlon .22
Program Overview
Highlands Trailblazers’ Adult .22 Biathlon program is designed for individuals aged 17+ who are interested in learning and experiencing the exciting sport of biathlon in a supportive, team-based environment. Whether you are new to the sport or looking to build on existing skills, this program offers a comprehensive introduction to both skiing and shooting.
Athletes will receive instruction in range safety and protocols, precision rifle shooting, and skate skiing technique, along with an introduction to race preparation and biathlon-specific training. A willingness to develop intermediate-level skate skiing skills is required, as skiing is a key component of the program.
Participants will also have the opportunity to attend and be supported at race events alongside the club’s Race Development athletes. While team training sessions provide the foundation, self-directed training outside scheduled sessions is encouraged for those looking to progress further.
